UPDATE: "Dangerous" Inmate Captured After Hijacking Deputies Cruiser

 

SNYDER, TX -- West Texas Authorities are currently searching for an inmate that stole a Deputies Cruiser in order to escape from jail. 

According to the City of Snyder Police Department, on October 23, a man, who is considered dangerous, escaped the Scurry County Jail by taking a Sheriff's Office Vehicle. 

The suspect, identified as Christopher Minor escaped near the intersection of Ave A and 35th. He has since ditched the cruiser. 

Local Citizens are encouraged to stay behind locked doors.

The Snyder Police Department has given the "all-clear"

The inmate was captured near the same location.
