Police Seize Large Amount of THC Laced Candy Weeks Before Halloween

EDINBURG, TX -- The Special Investigations Unit of a Texas Border Town seized a large amount of THC laced candy just weeks before Halloween.

According to KTXS, on October 20, officers with the Edinburg Police Department conducted a search warrant at a known drug dealers house.

After entering the home, Police found a large amount of candy, labeled with everyday brands, that was laced with THC.

One male has been taken into custody and other narcotics were seized in the search.

The Edinburg Police Department urges all citizens to be aware of whe candy your child receives on Halloween. Examples like this show that even though it doesn't look like drugs it still can be.
