SAN ANGELO, TX -- The San Angelo Independent School District has responded to a shooting threat that is hovering over West Texas.
According to a statement from Superintendent Dr. Carl Dethloff, since approximately 11:00 a.m. San Angelo ISD has been in constant communication with the San Angelo Police Department, law enforcement agencies, and region 15 education service center regarding an unsubstantiated threat to Texas schools circulation on social media.
These agencies have been in contact with the Texas Education Agency and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
At this time there is no credible threat in San Angelo and the district will continue to monitor the threats.
