K-9 Sniffs Out Nearly 3,000 Lbs of Reefer

 

BREWSTER CO, TX -- The K-9 for the Brewster County Sheriff's Office sniffed out nearly 3,000 pounds of marijuana out of a travel trailer yesterday. 

According to the BCSO, on October 10, Deputies with BCSO and Border Patrol Agents conducted a search on a Ford Pickup hauling a travel trailer. 

During search the Sheriff's Office's K-9 Unit was called in and was alerted to drugs inside the trailer. 

After a thorough search the Deputies found 2,957 pounds of marijuana hidden behind a false wall. 

The occupants of the vehicle were arrested and charged accordingly. 

The case is still under investigation.
