Deputies Seize More Than 1,300 Lbs of the Devils Lettuce

 

BREWSTER CO, TX -- The Brewster County Sheriff's Office Seized a large amount of marijuana last week. 

According to the BCSO, on October 1, Deputies learned that a truck had been driving cross country through private ranches in the Big Bend area. 

Deputies found the truck and forcefully stopped it. The occupants inside of the vehicle fled but were later apprehended by the US border patrol. 

The sheriff says that in result of the stop, the office confiscated 88 bundles of marijuana weighing 1,375 lbs. 

The incident is still under investigation.
