Alleged Car Thief with Drugs Arrested by SAPD

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A woman was arrested this morning for driving a stolen car. 

According to the affidavit signed by Justice of the Peace Eddie Howard, on October 7, the San Angelo Police Department arrested Amber Sanmiguel, 33, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. 

The arrest came after police say she did not have the consent of the vehicle's owner. 

During the arrest officers found a controlled substance. 

She was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, and RPR failure to identify with intent by giving false information. 

She is currently in the Tom Green County Jail and her bond is set at $17,500.
