UPDATE: Amber Alert Cancelled After Child Found Safe

 

AMARILLO, TX – An Amber Alert has been issued from the Amarillo Police Department. This is a child abduction alert issued by the Texas Amber Alert Network. 

The Amarillo Police Department is searching for Jamila Franklin, black female, 3 months old, date of birth June 11, 2019, height 1 foot, black hair, brown eyes and wearing a pink shirt and light blue shorts. 

Police are looking for Aliyah Moore, black female, 24-years-old, date of birth March 9, 1995, height 5 feet 6 inches, weight 145 lbs, black hair, brown eyes and wearing a black muscle shirt and gray sweat pants, in connection with the abduction. 

Law enforcement officials believe the child to be in grave or immediate danger. 

If you have any information regarding this abduction, call the agency.  

UPDATE: 10:50 a.m. 

Amarillo Police say the child has been found. 

The child is unharmed and the investigation is still on-going.
