UPDATE: Police Investigating Possible Shooting in North San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police are investigating a report of shots fired in north San Angelo this Monday morning. 

According to SAPD Public Information Officer Tracy Piatt-Fox, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of N. Bryant Blvd. shortly after 8:30 a.m. for shots fired. 

Scanner reports indicate a maroon pickup was involved. 

Reporters on the scene say police had a maroon pickup stopped at the corner of 14th St. and N. Bryant. 

There appears to be a bullet hole in the windshield of the pickup. 

Piatt-Fox says this is an active investigation and more information could be released in a few hours. 

She says they have several suspects in custody.  

UPDATE 10:12 a.m. Monday

Detectives with the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division are conducting a follow-up investigation to a report of shots fired in the 1500 block of North Bryant Blvd.  All lanes of southbound traffic from W. 17th to W. 15th as well as eastbound and westbound traffic on W. 15th from MLK to Hudson Street will be closed to vehicle traffic for several hours.  More information will be released when it becomes available.
