ABILENE, TX – Abilene resident, Sedrick Anthony Daughtery, 52, was arrested on Monday in connection to a seven-year-old rape case. He is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
According to a story on KTXS, Daughtery was identified as the perpetrator of a rape that occurred on September 28, 2012. The victim recounted to police that after a “stranger approached her and asked for money, she offered him a cigarette, he pulled out a knife, covered her face and drove her to a house.”
The suspect allegedly raped her twice and then forced her to cover her face and drove around until he released her. The woman was able to describe the suspect and his vehicle to police.
