Ski Masked Robber on the Run After Pistol Whipping Teller During Bank Heist

 

ABILENE, TX -- A man is on the run this morning after robbing a bank. 

According to KTXS, on September 24, the Abilene Police Department were dispatched to the First State Bank for the report of a robbery. 

When they arrived, the suspect was no where to be found. They talked to the bank teller who was being treated for a cut he sustained on his nose and learned what happened. 

Police say that around 8:00 a.m. a black male wearing a ski mask walked into the bank with a pistol. After demanding the money the man hit the teller with the pistol and then ran out the door. 

Neighbors told KTXS that a suspicious car was parked across the street but no other description has been given out. 

The suspect was described as less than less than 6-feet tall wearing a blue jean jacket and and blue jeans. If you have any information contact police immediately.
