Sending More Pictures than Intended to Coworkers Leads Police to Find Lewd Images of Children

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A man has been indicted on September 5 for having child porn in his possession. 

According to court documents, on March 28, of 2018, Jamie Mystic, 50, was arrested by the San Angelo Police Department for possession of child pornography after he sent co-workers multiple lewd images during an Easter Egg hunt. 

The arrest came after Mystic and co-workers were having to "hunt" gift certificates and then send photos of the certificates to the other employees. 

After Mystic had taken a picture of him with the gift certificates, but when he sent the image on himself he also sent multiple dirty image to his coworkers. 

A few days later, one of Mystic's colleagues went to authorities and showed them the other photos which contained several adolescent females, unclothed, exposing their female sexual organs, according to court documents.

Mystic was booked into the Tom Green County Jail and was released on a $50,000 bond about a month later. 

He has now been indicted for possession of child pornography and is set for his initial pretrial November 5 at 2:00 p.m.
