Money Laundering and Murder Tops Tuesday's Booking Report

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Twenty-two suspects were arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail on Tuesday.

The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, the San Angelo Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety made various arrests including manufacture and delivery, money laundering, and assault to a family member. 

  1. Justin Bass was arrested for possession of marijuana, manufacture and delivery of a PG 1, and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance at 10:58 p.m. His bond is set at $1,000. 
  2. Edgarm Renteria was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. unlawful carrying of a weapon, and money laundering at 3:26 p.m. His bond is set at $500. 
  3. Michael Cortez was arrested for assault that caused bodily injury to a family member at 1:45 a.m. His bond was set at $2,500 and was released at 5:13 p.m. 

 

Out of the 446 beds, 470 inmates are currently in jail as of Wednesday morning. 

The following were booked into the TGCJ on Tuesday: 

  • Michael Cortez was arrested for assault that caused bodily injury to a family member at 1:45 a.m. His bond was set at $2,500 and was released at 5:13 p.m. 
  • Shy Ritterpusch was arrested for public intoxication at 8:06 a.m. His bond was set at $442 and was released Wednesday at 2:58 a.m. 
  • Bentley Green was arrested for accident involving serious bodily injury and seven MISC CPF at 10:52 a.m. His bond is set at $15,000. 
  • Juan Herrera was arrested for DWLI, child in safety seat unrestrained, and speeding at 11:40 a.m. He was released without bond Wednesday at 2:58 a.m. 
  • Nathaniel Escobendo was arrested for possession of a controlled substance at 11:50 a.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Mark Guillory was arrested for false drug test falsification device at 12:29 p.m. His bond was set at $500 and was released at 10:43 p.m. 
  • Christopher Champion was arrested for forgery of a financial instrument at 12:50 p.m. His bond was set at $5,000 and was released at 10:43 p.m. 
  • Tamara Wachter was arrested for COMM assault to a family member with a previous conviction at 2:12 p.m. Her bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Carlos Cardenas was arrested for a MISC VOP at 2:48 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Edgarm Renteria was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. unlawful carrying of a weapon, and money laundering at 3:26 p.m. His bond is set at $500. 
  • Eric Piedra was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and no fishing license at 3:55 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Ignacio Puente was arrested for possession of marijuana at 4:11 p.m. His bond was set at $500 and was released Wednesday at 2:43 a.m. 
  • Jernnifer Badillo was arrested for GJI murder at 5:02 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Sally Stewart was arrested for impeding traffic at 5:32 p.m. Her bond is set at $354 and was released at 9:58 p.m. 
  • Jacob Parish was arrested for VOP possession of marijuana at 5:35 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Luis Mares was arrested for VOP criminal mischief at 7:33 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Calvin Burney was arrested for two MISC CPF at 7:44 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Christopher Hanna was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, DWLI with a previous conviction, and having a prohibited substance in a correctional facility at 9:17 p.m. His bond is set at $500. 
  • Raul Samaniego was arrested for VOP second driving while intoxicated at 9:48 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Steven Satterfield was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and a MISC CPF at 10:28 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Stephanie Ramirez was arrested for MISC CPF at 10:42 p.m. She was released without bond Wednesday at 12:28 a.m. 
  • Justin Bass was arrested for possession of marijuana, manufacture and delivery of a PG 1, and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance at 10:58 p.m. His bond is set at $1,000.
