Ounces of Meth and Heroin, Thousands in Cash, and Guns Seized in Drug Bust

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Thousands of dollars in cash, ounces of meth and heroin, and three firearms were seized yesterday during a drug bust on the north side. 

According to the San Angelo Police Department, Yesterday, Detectives with the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division seized approximately six ounces of suspected Methamphetamine, approximately one and a half ounces of suspected Heroin, an assortment of narcotics distribution paraphernalia, three firearms, and $5,985.00 in U.S. Currency.

The haul was located during a search warrant operation at a residence in the 700 block of East 37 th Street.

Charges for the suspects formally detained during the search are pending Federal prosecution.

The Department’s K-9 Unit, Lake Police, Criminal Investigations Division and Physicians with the Center for Tactical Medicine assisted with yesterday’s operation.

The name of the suspect has not been named at this time.
