UPDATE: Runnels County Sheriff Catches Wanted Meth Dealer

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The San Angelo Police Department are searching for a wanted meth dealer.

According to court documents, on December 31, 2015, a trooper with the Department of Public Safety pulled over a vehicle for speeding on US 67 near West Douglas Loop.

After pulling the vehicle over, the trooper approached the car he identified the driver as Charles Dwinal and the passenger as Kelly Lopez.

He noticed that the two were acting extremely nervous and that the car smelled like marijuana. A K-9 was called in and the vehicle was searched. Inside of the vehicle was 128 grams of methamphetamine, meth pipes, a small amount of marijuana, two marijuana grinders, a .25 caliber pistol, a 9 mm pistol, and then a .40 caliber Smith and Wesson under the driver's seat.

Two years after the incident Lopez took a plea deal that included probation.

Now Assistant District Attorney Sara Reyes has put out a motion to revoke after continuous missed payments, failure to complete community service hours, and for Lopez "failing to avoid vicious habits by using marijuana and methamphetamine."

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Lopez contact SAPD immediately. Do not attempt to apprehend any fugitive because they could be armed and dangerous.

UPDATE:

Kelly Lopez has now been arrested and is currently in the Tom Green County Jail.

Booking reports indicate that Lopez was arrested by the Runnels County Sheriff's Office and was booked into the TGCJ at 6:13 p.m.

Her bond has not been set at this time.
