Wanted Child Predator Caught Drunk Driving in Tom Green County

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A woman who was pulled over for drinking and driving on Labor Day was also a wanted child predator. 

According to the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, on September 2, a Trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety pulled over 32-year-old Cheree Smith for a suspicion of drunk driving. 

After he pulled her over, the trooper found out that she was wanted for more than five child sex charges. 

Smith was taken to the Tom Green County jail at 3:09 a.m and was booked for GJI AGG SEXUAL ASSAULT CHILD COUNTS IV-V, GJI INDECENCY W/CHILD SEXUAL CONTACT COUNTS I-III, and DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED. 

Her bond was set at $201,000 and was released from the TGCJ later that day at 1:43 p.m.
