Authorities Searching for Hit and Run Suspect Who Killed 33-Year-Old

 

SWEETWATER, TX -- After a man was found dead in a ditch on August 19, Authorities are searching for the suspect who hit the man and then drove away. 

According to KTXS, on August 19 two TxDot workers found a body on the side of the road. After Police were called they identified the man as 33-year-old Fabian Torrez. 

The body was sent for an Autopsy and the preliminary reports stated that Torrez was killed by "multiple blunt force injuries" after being struck by a car. 

Family members claim that Torrez went to see his father and grandmother at the Nolan Nursing home and never made it home. 

Torrez's body was found a half of a mile away from the nursing home.
