ASU Police Recover Stolen Bike from Midland

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The Angelo State Police Department arrested a man yesterday for driving a stolen motorcycle. 

According to the ASU PD, on August 21, officers noticed a orange motorcycle that did not have a license plate on it. 

Police stopped the bike at the 2000 block of Douglas and identified the driver as 51-year-old Williams Roberts. 

Roberts' license came back invalid and the motorcycle came back as stolen out of Midland since 2017. 

Roberts was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving while license invalid. His bond was set at $8,000 and was released August 22 at 11:13 a.m.
