BROWNWOOD, TX -- A man, who was out oun bond, was arrested again Wednesday after police found him messaging a child on social media.

According to the Brownwood Bulletin, in 2018 Nicholas Sterling, 21, was found guilty of sexual assault of a child and was place on a 10 year deferred adjudication.

Not even one year later, on July 31 Sterling was rearrested for not registering the correct home address and social media identifiers. He was bonded out of jail on August 10.

Then on August 14 a Texas Department of Safety Special Agent received information that Sterling had got into contact with a child via social media.

When the account was searched, the agent found that Sterling was using a fake social media account and exchanged photos and videos with a 14-year-old girl.

He is currently in the Brown County Jail and is charged with online solicitation of a child.
