Six Illegals from Central American Arrested After Starting Fire to Call for Help

 

BREWSTER CO, TX -- Six illegal immigrants were arrested after starting a fire to call for help. 

According to the Brewster County Sheriffs' Office in the late night of August 7 the BCSO responded to a brush fire just a couple miles north of FM 170. 

When deputies arrived they found six individuals who entered the US illegally and discovered they were from Guatemala and Honduras. 

The six admitted to starting the fire in order to call for help. They were all arrested and were turned over to the border patrol. 

The fire was put out and no serous injuries or damages were reported.
