FBI Called in as Bank Robber Flees to Big Spring

 

ODESSA, TX -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation chased a man accused of robbing a bank to Big Spring yesterday. 

According to CBS 7, on July 30 a teller at the Security Bank received a note from a man saying to put all the money in a bag and that he had a gun. 

The suspect was already gone with the money when police arrived, but they were able to get a description of him thanks to surveillance footage. 

Through investigation the Odessa Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the FBI identified the suspect as 66-year-old Bobby Gracy Jr.

They then located Gracy Jr. in Big Spring and arrested him. 

He is currently charged with Robbery.
