TGSO and SAPD Early Morning Drug Bust Landed This Man Behind Bars

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and the San Angelo Police Department teamed up to take down a man who was dealing Meth early Monday morning.

According to court documents, on July 29 the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and the San Angelo Police Department executed a search warrant before 5:00 a.m. for 34-year-old Ricardo Montes. 

The warrant, signed by Justice of the Peace Fred Buck, stated that Montes intentionally possessed with intent to deliver methamphetamine in an aggregated weight of more than four grams but less than 200 grams. 

Montes is currently in Tom Green County Jail and is charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. His bond is set at $65,000. 

Manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance is a first degree felony and is punishable by five to 99 years in prison.
