San Angeloan Arrested on Federal Gun and Drug Charges

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A man was arrested Wednesday by US marshals for gun and drug charges. 

According to court reports on January 22 Kelien Deshawn Thompson was in possession of a .410 Caliber Rossi Shotgun that was unregistered and had an overall length of less than 26 inches. The barrel length was less than 18 inches. He was also charged with unlawful user of and addict to a controlled substance in possession of a fire arm. 

On July 10 Thompson was indicted for possessing the items and is in federal custody. 

Thompson has pled not guilty to the two charges and his initial pretrial began today. 

Thompson is currently on probation for two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
