SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo police investigated a shooting at a San Angelo motel early Sunday afternoon.
It was early in the investigation, so police so had limited information. Police spokeswoman Cpl. Tracy Piatt-Fox confirmed San Angelo police were investigating a shooting.

A bystander said the victim was found with two bullets in the head inside a room at the Red Roof Inn & Suites, in the 4200 block of S. Bryant. The bystander identified who he thought the victim was. This information is not confirmed, but a motel room there was swarmed with police detectives early Sunday afternoon. More police were seen at apartments behind the motel.

Police said more information will be released later when the investigation reveals more information.
