Police: Woman Terrified When a Strange Man Enters Her Vehicle Near Her Children

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Late Tuesday morning, San Angelo Police responded to the Allsup’s Convenience store on North Main Street for the report of a stranger that entered a customer’s vehicle.

According to information from San Angelo Police Department Public Information Officer Tracy Piatt-Fox, officers arrived and spoke with a female customer who stated she was pumping gas when she noticed a male stranger had entered the back seat of her vehicle where her two children were seated.  

When the woman confronted the man, the man exited the vehicle, apologized, then ran off to a nearby business. 

Soon after, officers located and identified the man, who stated he mistakenly entered what he thought was a friend’s vehicle.

This is an active investigation and more information will be released when it becomes available.
