Father and Son Arrested for Sexually Assaulting Teen

ODESSA, TX -- A father and son are both in the Ector County Jail after the a 16-year-old contracted a sexually transmitted disease. 

According to CBS 7, in July on 2017 Michael Paul Klein, 39, came into contact with the child via social media. After contacting her he picked her up from her house and take her back to his house where he would sexually assault her. 

This continued until October of 2018. On April 16, Michael Klein was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and was bailed out of jail the following day. 

On Match 15, the father of Michael Klein, 60-year-old Jerry Klein called the child and told her that he received nude images of the child and that if she did not have sex with him that he would post them on the internet. 

The man then went to the girls house, picked her up, took her to an unknown trailer house, and sexually assaulted the girl. According to the affidavit, during the sexual assault, the 60-year-old reportedly wore a condom but took it off and continued sexual intercourse.

A register nurse gave the child a health screen and the child came back positive for a STD. The only two men that she listed to have had sex with was Michael and Jerry Klein. 

The two are both charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
