"Targeted Home Invasion" Leaves One Man Dead

 

MIDLAND, TX -- One person died last night after a home invasion that turned into a shooting. 

On June 25, the Midland Police Department responded to a shots fired call at around 10:30 p.m. 

When they arrived arrived to the house on the 1700 block of Maple Avenue they found the body of 26-year-old Joshua Shoals. 

According to CBS 7, Shoals lived at the house where he was shot and killed. 

No suspects have been arrested at this time. Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide and are calling it a "Targeted Home Invasion."
