Farmer Convicted of Possessing Topless Photo of Teen Finishes Planting Cotton and Reports to Jail

SAN ANGELO, TX -- After pleading guilty to what he described as "the biggest mistake of my life," Corby Chitsey has reported to the Tom Green County Jail to begin his sentence.

As we reported earlier, Chitsey pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography on May 12.  He had a topless picture of a 14-year-old girl on his cell phone and shared that photo with the victim's friends on social media.

Chitsey was sentenced to seven years of deferred adjudication.  District Judge Jay Weatherby pronounced sentence on May 12 and ordered Chitsey be taken into custody to begin serving 90 days in jail.  His attorney requested that he be allowed time to plant cotton before beginning his jail time.

Judge Weatherby ordered Chitsey to report to jail on June 24 at 9 a.m. to begin serving 30 days in jail.  He will then spend every weekend from 3 p.m. on Friday to 3 p.m. on Sunday in jail until he has served 90 days.
