Hotel Shooting Leaves One Teen Hospitalized and Five Teens Arrested

 

ANDREWS, TX -- One teen was hospitalized following a hotel shooting on Tuesday night. 

On June 18, the Andrews Police Department was dispatched to a hotel that was located on Main st. for the report of a shooting victim. 

When officers arrived they found a teenage boy that had suffered from a gunshot wound to the back. The teen was taken to Permian Regional Medical Center but then had to be airlifted to UMC in Lubbock. 

According to CBS 7, following the investigation police arrested three male teens and two males for Engaging in Criminal Activity after finding three stolen firearms with altered serial numbers. 

Karah Freeland, 32, was at the scene and was charged with false report to a Peace Officer. The five teens were also charged with possession of marijuana. 

The name of the victim have not been released at this time.

is kind of not San Angelo why do you guys report other cities news? I mean at that distance we should be getting Weatherford and Ft Worth...
