Kicking and Screaming: Woman Fights Police After Allsup's Theft

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Woman runs and fights police after they tried to arrest her for a theft at the Allsup's yesterday. 

On June 10, the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the Allsup's on N Main St. for a theft that was in progress. 

Police arrived, investigated the theft, and eventually found Jennifer Sanchez, 29, several blocks away. 

Officers then attempted to arrest Sanchez but she resisted arrest and attempted to fight the officers. After officers put Sanchez in the car she started kicking the windows and screaming. 

Sanchez was then taken to the Tom Green County Jail where she continued to fight and ended up assaulting a jailer. This forced the jail to place her in restraints. 

Sanchez was charged with evading arrest, resisting arrest, failure to identify as a fugitive from justice, class c theft, disorderly conduct by using abusive language, going off bond: resisting arrest, and two failure to appears. She is currently in the Tom Green County Jail on a $2,898 bond.

$2,898 bond, I feel she needs a lot bigger bond than that. Guess she though she could fight her way out.
