Man Arrested After Attacking Metal Pillar with Samurai Sword

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A man was arrested yesterday after attempting to chop up a metal pillar with a samurai sword.

On May 6, the San Angelo Police Department were called out to the "Yes Way" on 7th and Chadbourne for something strange.

The caller stated a man was wielding a sword outside of the gas station and was acting wild. The man was using a sword to attack a metal pillar and the gas pumps.

The police arrived and arrested 43-year-old Saul Arellano before anyone was injured.

He was charged with disorderly conduct as well as was given a criminal trespassing warning from the Yes Way.
