Abilene Man Charged With Sexual Assault of 8-Year-Old

ABILENE, TX -- An Abilene man is behind bars after police say he sexually assaulted an 8-year-old girl in 2018.

Joseph David Chacon, 22, was arrested on Wednesday for the alleged crime. His charge is aggravated sexual assault of a child.

The incident report from January, obtained by KTXS, says Chacon took the 8-year-old victim to her bedroom and forced her to do sexual acts.

Chacon's bond was set at $75,000.
