Abilene Man Accused of Trying to Steal Officer's Gun, Hurling Obscenities Indicted

ABILENE, TX -- An Abilene man accused of trying to steal an officer's gun in January has been indicted.

Joe Anthony Garcia, 41, was indicted by a Taylor County grand jury for trying to steal an officer's gun during an arrest on a domestic dispute call in January, according to KTXS.

The officer said she felt something on her gun and holster. It was Garcia's hand.

"I've got your f***ing gun, you f***ing b***," Garcia shouted, according to the indictment.

 The officer was able to turn away from Garcia and remove his hand.
