SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo man has been indicted in March after being pulled over by deputies and having 19 grams of methamphetamine.
On Jan. 9, deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office were looking for Danny Robledo, 44, who had an felony arrest warrant out for him. The warrant was for a motion to revoke on manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance which occurred in 2016. Robledo had the warrant due to his failure to make payments on according to his plea deal that gave him six years deferred adjudication.
The deputies found the house where he was at on the 400 block of E. 21st St. According to an affidavit, Deputies saw Robledo leave his home with a black backpack and entering a vehicle on the passenger side. The deputies then pulled the vehicle over at 19th St.and Chadbourne.
The deputies arrested Robledo and searched the bag where they found a large bag of meth weighing 17.1 grams. They also found two bags with peace signs on them that had 1.44 grams of meth and .73 grams of meth. They also found the peace baggies in another pocket without any meth in them.
Robledo's pockets were searched and the deputies found another peace baggie weighing .47 grams. Robledo told deputies that he knew the meth was inside the bag and that he was just taking it to his sister's house.
Robledo was indicted for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
