Drivers Escape Serious Injury in Crash in front of Glenn Middle School

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Two people were injured in a crash in front of Glenn Middle School Wednesday afternoon.

According to San Angelo Police Department investigating officer Bradshaw the driver of a Toyota Camry was on Phil George Dr. attempting to turn right onto University Ave.

There were vehicles in all lanes and the driver of the Camry apparently didn't see the Ford F-150 and pulled out into the pickup's path.

The F-150 crashed into the driver's side of the Camry.

An ambulance was called as police and firefighters responded and the drivers received minor injuries but refused transportation to the hospital.

The driver of the Camry was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
