Suspect Arrested After Allegedly Stealing Nearly $12,000 Worth of Cell Phones From Walmart

 

ABILENE, TX – Abilene Police arrested a man Friday after he allegedly stole $12,000 worth of cell phones from Walmart.

Police conducted a search warrant at the home of Troy Busbea, 41, Friday morning. During the search Busbea told police that he did steal the cell phones from the Walmart.

According to KTXS, he was also in possession of a "usable amount of methamphetamine."

Police say they found $11, 686 worth of cell phones. Busbea was charged with theft and is being held in the Taylor County Jail. His bond is set at $12,500.
