Man Arrested After Threatening To Kill People at Church

 

SWEETWATER, TX – A Sweetwater man has been arrested on Sunday after police say he threatened to kill people at a local churches.

At around 10:30 a.m. Sweetwater Police Officers arrested Jimmy Don Farquhar, 45, after Farquhar allegedly drove around multiple churches with the widows down yelling he was going to kill people.

“We are fortunate that we arrested him before he acted on there threats," said Police Chief Brian Frieda. According to KTXS,  Police found three knives located inside of the car during the arrest.

Farquhar was charged with making terroristic threats.
