ABILENE, TX – An Anson man was indicted in February for aggravated sexual assault of a child.
On December 22, Eric James Moreno, 37, was arrested on a warrant for a sexual assault of a child that allegedly occurred on August 28, 2015.
According to KTXS, the indictment charges Moreno sexually assaulted a child who was younger than 14 years of age.
Moreno was released from the Jones Co. jail on $10,000 bond.
Moreno is also facing charges in New Mexico for Criminal Sexual Contact of Minor.
The New Mexico trial is scheduled for May 8, 2019.
