Woman Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Sister in the Face with a Knife

ODESSA, TX – A woman has been arrested on Tuesday after she allegedly used a knife to stab her sister in the face and neck.

On February 26, officers with the Odessa Police Department went to a residence where they believed someone had been stabbed.

Police say they entered the home to find a 53-year-old female with injuries to the neck and face. The injuries were consistent with stab wounds and she was taken to the hospital immediately.

Officers then made contact with Kimberly Hamilton, 56, who informed them that the two were fighting over a family member when things escalated. According to OPD, the investigation showed that Hamilton grabbed a knife and stabbed her sister on the left side of her neck and face.

Hamilton was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon which is a second degree felony.
