Suspect Arrested after Attempting to have FedEx Deliver 7 lbs of Marijuana

 

ABILENE, TX – An Abilene man was arrested Thursday after police found seven pounds of marijuana in a FedEx package.

The Abilene Police Department received a tip of a package that may have marijuana inside of it.

Police then brought a K-9 unit to the FedEx shipping center where the dog alerted on two packages.

According to KTXS, Myers went to pick up his package and was taken into custody.

Police then searched the packages and found seven pounds of marijuana.

He was charged with felony possession of marijuana and his bond was set at $10,000.
