Two Arrested After Police Smell Marijuana and Find 54 Grams of Meth

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Two suspects were taken into custody after police found 54 grams of methamphetamine on Sunday.

San Angelo Police Officers talked to occupants of a vehicle parked in the parking lot of Stripes at the 1800 block of S. Bryant Blvd. While talking to the Crystal Garcia, 26, and Ashley Garcia,28, the officers noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming out of the car.

The police then searched the vehicle and found 54 grams of methamphetamine, Xanax, and drug paraphernalia. Police say that the two had smoked marijuana in the vehicle just prior to speaking wth police.

Crystal Garcia was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance as well as possession of a controlled substance.

Ashley Garcia was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. She also had warrants in other counties for motion to revoke a possession of controlled substance, credit and debit card abuse, and possession of marijuana.

The two were booked into the Tom Green County Jail on Sunday.
