Single Car Crash Leaves One Dead

 

ABILENE, TX – A single car crash led to the death of one person on Wednesday.

According to DPS Sergeant Fred Biddle, the 2000 Buick Century was traveling north on SH-36.

The vehicle drifted off the east side of the road. Margaret Davis, 69, of Abilene was operating the car when she swerved back towards the road causing her to lose control.

The Century then smashed into the guardrail. Davis was not wearing her seatbelt, and was pronounced dead on the scene.

This crash is still under investigation.
