BALLINGER, TX -- A former Runnels County Jailer was sentenced to prison or engaging in organized criminal activity for his part in bringing prohibited substances into the Runnels Co. Jail in Ballinger.
According to the Runnels Co. Sheriff's Office Facebook page, Trevor Marcilliotte was originally arrested on 05-08-2018 in Ballinger by the Runnels County Sheriff’s Office for the offense of engaging in organized criminal activity and bringing prohibited substances into a correctional facility.
Marcilliotte was sentenced Thursday by District Judge Ben Woodward to 5 years in the Texas Department Of Criminal Justice for the felony offense of bringing prohibited substances into a correctional facility.
Marcilliotte is being held in the Runnels County Jail until transportation is arranged to a Texas Department of Criminal Justice unit.

PermalinkThere was no reference to clergy in this article. I was condemning those who choose "good guy" professions, basically putting themselves on a moral pedestal, and then betray the trust of those who either depend on them for safety and security, or those who preach morality to us heathens, and then commit unspeakable crimes upon children.
