Fugitive Murder Suspects Arrested in Odessa

ODESSA, TX -- Two suspects in a Christmas day homicide in Inglewood, CA were found by Police Officers in Odessa on Friday.

Donovan "Miklo" Bingaman, 21, and Lizet Martinez, 29, were taken into custody after OPD were called out to two suspicious people outside of Wal-mart. They were in a gray Honda, without any license plate, asking people for help.

Police arrived on scene and ran the V.I.N. number on the vehicle to find out it was stolen. The two realized they were going to be arrested, so they fled from the officer.

"Officers lost the listed vehicle," said police. "Further investigation revealed that the two subjects had stolen a white Ford F-250 in the area of Highway 191 and Faudree." They then located the stolen truck, and took the two into custody.

They were charged with theft of a property and failure to identify as a fugitive from justice.

The investigation revealed that both subjects were wanted out of Casa Grande, AZ in connection with an aggravated assault charge. The two were also wanted for the murder of Loudres Padilla,70, who was found murdered on Christmas day.
