Wichita Falls, TX – An immigrant who entered the United States illegally from Honduras was sentenced three years in prison after pleading guilty to indecency with a child by sexual contact.

Police were given a report after a 7-year-old girl told a teacher at her school that Jose Raul Ramos-Martinez grabbed her and "bounced her up and down in his lap while both were fully clothed causing sexual contact through their clothing."

Ramos-Martinez,36, faced 20 years in prison, but since he took the plea deal he will only serve three years.

Ramos-Martinez remains in the Wichita County Jail and is being held for ICE.

No Big D.An example would be 20 years.
This was a very slight slap on the hand.
Yes we will hear from him again in maybe 9 to 18 months when he rapes and kills a child.
This was surely not his first assault. He been playing with kids for a while.
If this was your daughter would you be satisfied with this joke of a sentence?
Loving that Nancy and local folk like ol sh it and Austin demonrat sa x.
But you won't hear anything from them until our President is mentioned.
Then they will come out with their snide, degrading remarks.
This rat would be welcome to hide out with them.
Sad. Anti American POS.

...always push headlines of these dirty folk. There's an agenda here. Wake up ppl. This happened in Germany a few decades ago. They started blaming all their problems on Jews.

What does Hitler's antisemitism in WWII Germany have to do with enforcing immigration laws and securing the border? Maybe the message here is that many illegals are also criminals back in Mexico and elsewhere who come here to escape justice? Doesn't seem right that you make light of the Holocaust by drawing a comparison.

The Holocaust was horrible. How did it happen? Part of it was only showing the bad things Jews did. It turned people to hate Jews. They didn't portray them as loving family members. Hitler only blamed them for problems. How do we do this to illegals? Don't show the family loving ones on the media. Turn them into dogs. All groups of people commit crimes. When we only focus on one group of people doing the crimes, it stirs up hate. More Americans murdered each other in Chicago last month than all the illegals will do in a year. Realize these people are just like us. You're not better than them because you eat McDonald's and shop at Albertsons.

While forcing the framework of events in Europe onto problems in the Americas might seem natural to some, we shouldn't force a foreign, European perspective onto our unique set of circumstances half a world away from Germany. Texas shares history and heritage with Mexico, and for many that includes ancestry.

This is not Europe, Hitler is long dead, and the problems facing North and Central America are pressing. Just as we have problems, so does Mexico. Severe problems, and problems that the American government doesn't have the "jurisdiction" to solve.

What is the best way for the United States to contain the spillover of criminal influences and the chaos caused by political, economic, and social instability to the south without also playing the part of the bully we have been portrayed as in the past? By simply enforcing our laws and restricting illegal intrusions into the country.

Thankfully, despite long held antisemitic sentiments in Latin America and a rising trend in the US of questioning the relationship of the US with Israel, no new "Hitler" has yet to appear. We are all human beings, and as such, we live under laws to keep our peace.
