Suspect in Local Shootings Found in San Antonio Motel

SAN ANTONIO, TX -- A suspect wanted in connection to a San Angelo shooting over a week ago was found 215 miles away in San Antonio.

The San Angelo Police Department announced that Dathan Knight, 19, was arrested by the San Antonio Police Department today at the Delta Inn Motel at 9503 N. Interstate 35.

Knight is believed to have shot two people on Sunday, Jan. 13.

Police were dispatched to Community Medical Center for a gunshot victim on Jan. 13. The investigation led police to a second gunshot victim.

It was eventually developed that Knight was the suspect in the case.
