Evading Police With Drugs and a Gun Tops the Thursday Booking Report

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Possessing a controlled substance and running from the Tom Green County Sheriffs tops Thursday's booking report. 

There were 14 suspects arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail on Thursday. The San Angelo Police Department arrested a man who allegedly continuously sexually abused a child under 14 years old and also another man for allegedly driving while intoxicated with marijuana in the car. 

The following people were booked in the TGCJ on Thursday:

  • Brandon Wimberly was arrested for continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 years old at 4:47 a.m. His bond was set at $150,000. 
  • Jimmy Smith was arrested for driving while license invalid, expired registration and parole violation at 9:21 p.m. His bond was set at $1,048.
  • Sally Stewart was arrested for theft of over $50 but under $500 at 3:07 a.m. Her bond was set at $424 and she was released at 4:58 a.m.
  • Geronimo Ruiz was arrested for driving with license invalid at 9:18 a.m. His bond was set at $500 and he was released at 10:13 a.m. 
  • Melissa Burleson was arrested for selling alcohol to minors at 9:56 a.m. Her bond was set at $750 and was released at 12:13 p.m. 
  • Dante Torres was arrested for driving with license invalid at 11:00 a.m. His bond was set at $500 and was released at 12:58 p.m. 
  • Jacob Painter was arrested for possession/delivery of drug paraphernalia at 5:55 a.m. His bond was set at $1,224 and was released at 3:58 p.m. 
  • Alvin Askins no proof of financial responsibility and a parole violation at 2:17 p.m. His bond was set at $1,499 and was released at 5:28 p.m. 
  • Andreas Sanchez was arrested for possession of marijuana at 8:29 p.m. His bond was set at $1,000 and was released at 1:13 a.m. 
  • Olen Ferguson was arrested for driving while license invalid, speeding, and criminal tresspassing at 9:50 p.m. His bond was set at $3,246 and was released at 1:13 a.m. 
  • Simon Cardona was being held for Texas Department of Criminal Justice at 7:20 p.m and was released to the TDCJ at 7:58 a.m. 
  • Jaime Hernandez was being held for Texas Department of Criminal Justice at 9:08 p.m and was released to the TDCJ at 7:58 a.m. 
  • Devon Fague was arrested for possession of marijuana, driving while intoxicated, and possesion of drug paraphernalia at 11:45 p.m. His bond was set at $2,642 and was released at 7:58 a.m. 
  • Keneth Cansler was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon at 11:02 p.m. His bond was set at $27,500 and he was released at 7:58 a.m.
