UPDATE: San Angelo Police Detain Wanted Subject

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Police Saturday are working in the area of 23rd St. and Pecan. 

Scanner reports indicate they detained three subjects in a vehicle but a fourth subject fled on foot.  

Reporters on the scene say Police had their weapons drawn.

UPDATE Saturday 2:40 p.m.

San Angelo Police have detained a subject.

Live! Reporter at the scene took the picture that shows a subject handcuffed being detained. 

San Angelo Police K-9 Officer Brian Gesch says members of the anti-crime unit were attempting to locate a wanted subject. They attempted to stop a vehicle at 6th St. and Bryant Blvd. around 1 p.m. The vehicle fled and was later found at 26th St. and Oaklawn. Gesch says three subjects were detained at that location. The wanted subject fled and was later captured in the 300 block of E. 26th St.
