DPS Searching for Driver Who Hit a Pedestrian and Left the Scene

 

ABILENE, TX -- Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers are searching for the driver of a hit-and-run vehicle that crashed into another vehicle and hit a pedestrian.  

According to DPS Trooper Sgt. Fred Biddle, Thursday afternoon at around 5:56 p.m. a white Pontiac SUV/minivan traveling northbound on CR 287 struck a vehicle and a pedestrian just North of FM 1235 in Taylor County.  

The Pontiac continued north leaving the scene of the crash.

The Pontiac is white with black fender flares. It has front left damage and is missing the center grill with a honeycomb pattern, drivers headlamp, and the left front fender flare.

The victim was transported to Hendrick Medical Center.
