SAPD Mourns the Loss of Beloved K-9

 

SAN ANGELO, TX-- The San Angelo Police Department lost a member of the force this past weekend, according to the SAPD.

Fritz, a Belgian Malinois, passed away peacefully at the age of 12 after serving 7 years on the SAPD.

Fritz was a great dog that loved catching criminals. He also enjoyed going out to local events.

Fritz lived in retirement with his handler, Officer J. Fincher, where he spent his final days filled with belly rubs and ear scratches.

During his career, Fritz logged countless criminal tracks and apprehensions and is credited for numerous drug seizures.
