Butler Farms Burglars Caught Red Handed

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Barbara Avenue in Butler Farms Monday for the report of a vehicle burglary in progress.

According to San Angelo Police, officers converged on the area and began canvassing the neighborhood for suspects when they located a suspicious vehicle parked in the 1500 block of Butler Drive that was occupied by two men.

Officers also observed discarded personal property on the ground outside the vehicle.

When speaking with the men, later identified as 19-year-old David Gandar and 17-year-old Michael A. Andros, officers observed property inside their vehicle that had just been reported stolen from the burglary on Barbara Avenue.

In addition to recovering the victim’s stolen property, oficers seized numerous items of suspected stolen property that were also located inside their gray Chrysler 300.

Some of the seized property has since been identified by additional victims who live in Butler Farms and discovered their vehicles had been burglarized overnight.

This is an active investigation and additional charges are forthcoming.
